Nice experience, great for a couple. Excellent service, nice landscapes, food and, of course, wines. I'll do this trip again.

I highly recommend this tour. This was the best option offered because you got to visit 4 wineries as well as enjoy one of the best meals you will have in Napa..The asparagus soup was to die for! Loved the wineries we visited...All was top notch. Staff was amazing!

Go in the Vista Dome, as you get a great view from the big curved windows and the elevated position. The food is great and its hard believe it can be prepared to such high standard on a train. Lovely wines to go with the meal.

Was apprehensive at first about the trip but thoroughly enjoyed it. Recommend the Quattro Tour. The food courses were delicious and beautifully presented. Servers were attentive and informative about passing sights. Liked having a tour guide for our small group at each winery. I learned alot about each winery, their founders and why their wines taste the way they do.... More

We took the Ambassador tour which consists of a train ride lunch, dessert, and coffee, followed by two winery tour and tastings and a shuttle back. The lunch and desserts were all great. The wineries were Charles Krug and Raymond, which were completely different but both fun. Our guide had a lot of great cheesy jokes. Another nicity was the... More

This was our second time on the wine train and a disappointment as we were taking another couple. The timing of the departure for dinner in late October needs to be adjusted as it is too dark when you leave and there is really nothing to see. Dinner and drinks were good along with the service. Not worth it if... More

We were treated to a day out on this vintage train. Our day consisted of an hour's outward journey to Grgich Hills Winery, an hour at the winery with tasting and an hour's journey back. An excellent lunch with choices was served, starter and main course on the outward journey in the dining car and dessert and coffee in the... More

We had heard that the Santa Train would be fantastic for our 3 3/4 year old grandson. Boarding was supposed to be at 4:30 and we got there at 5:00. No food was going to be served so my wife ran out to get us dinner at Oxbow Market. Santa made the rounds through the holding room and we started... More

Excellent experience. The food and service were excellent. I do however, suggest that you bring your own wine if there is something special that you had just bought. There's a $15 corking fee that is well worth the price. Be prepared to spend more money besides your ticket, to purchase wine on the train. Your ticket only includes one glass... More

Friendly staff and vintage equipment especially the full length dome car thats Milwaukee Road Heritage. I traveled with Napa Valley Wine Train on the Ambassador and Castle Tours. I highly recommend both. But if you want to see an authentic castle do the castle tour. I even had time to take their shorter Quattro Vino Train. a one car and... More
