Well not a mine, exactly, but the remains of a hydraulic diggings from the late 1800's. Hydraulic mining was later outlawed and the action was the country's first environmental law. Here's your chance to learn about California's rich god mining history.

There may not be much here but it is the most beautiful area you will have the pleasure of walking g through. Gorgeous scenery and great for pictures. Beautiful anytime of year.
