Very easy hike with access to restrooms and water along the way. Mostly fire roads up until you get to the top of the trail with some single track. Great views of the ocean and wild parrots!

8 mile hike one-way. Lots of bikes on the trail but it is wide and much of it is paved. Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa State Park at the top, Sycamore Cove on the Pacific Coast Highway at the end. Pay parking at Sycamore Cove.

Getting started with the bike took some time, so we would leave one vehicle in Malibu and drive to the other side canyon. One- way down hill is the best way to kick start the new habit.
