We enjoyed our long walk on the beach. The sand is clean but the water is cold. The homes along the beach are very cool. A must visit beach. Parking is hard to get so I suggest just pay for parking in a paid lot....More

During my visit to Newport Beach, I noticed how clean and well-cared-for the entire area was. There is a great selection of restaurants, great sand, bike rentals, etc. It is a great area!

We visited Newport beach for one day and although it was nice overall, just didn't compare to Huntington beach. Everyone just seems nicer in Huntington, the beach is cleaner in Huntington too. Decent pier, real nice boardwalk but I'd prefer Huntington over Newport

My son and I walked to beach while my husband was in a conference. It was a typical public Beach. Waves were high and there were a lot of people.
