I took the Catalina Ferry to Catalina Island. Complicit in the big lie. Make you wear a mask on board. They send to you go buy one it you don’t have it. Then as soon as you are on the ferry everyone takes it off, such BS. Over crowded and a nightmare

Do not go right now if you have any concern at all about getting covid. We used this flyer yesterday, and the majority of people did not wear/keep their masks on. Masks are required to BOARD but mask wearing is not enforced once on board. We have used this in the past. Crew is always nice and helpful. Just wouldn’t use again until the pandemic is under control. Pretty appalled that I had to sit in a floating Petri dish.

We took the Catalina Flyer as a day trip to Catalina Island with the family. The boat ride was great and the crew were very helpful. We were able to book a few activities on the boat that the crew helped with so that you have activities to do once you arrive on the island. Most of these activities were sold out when we tried to book online so this was a real plus! The kids definitely enjoyed the smooth boat ride to start the day. We have already scheduled another trip back over the 2021 Thanksgiving holiday since the kids had such a good experience & wanted to plan a longer trip.

My husband and I were treated to 5 star service from crew member, John K, on our July 28 day trip to Avalon. John assisted us by providing early boarding, great seating, serving drinks, and suggesting spots to see in Catalina. We had a wonderful day seeing the sights via golf cart and then dining on Front Street. On our return to the Catalina Flyer John, once again, helped us board the boat. He even gave us a bag of his delicious home-grown pistachios to go along with our beverages. The boat itself was well kept and the fact that passengers' luggage, bikes, and strollers had a special storage helped keep the aisles safe. All-in-all a wonderful day.
