My husband and I stopped by this sandwich shop both days were in Napa Valley. It's expensive, but you won't regret it! The sandwiches and service were both great. They have comfortable outdoor seating (with a gorgeous view of the mountains).

Super visit. Great food deli style. Tables and chairs outdoors with a view of the valley is super fun.

Like a country store, but focused on making great sandwiches. You have your option of simple deli-style, or more artisan style. Had a fantastic ham, brie & baked apple sandwich. Easy stop when wine tasting, don't need to devote a lot of time, and plenty of picnic tables next to the store for eating.

As other reviewers noted this place is very nice but also very pricy. Samples of chocolate bars were available, had a bite, tasted great, picked one up but with a whopping twelve dollars. Very cute reusable bag, for eighteen bucks. More of a travelers destination and less locals would come here (I suppose). But sandwiches are great, you can have... More

My husband and I stopped in to pick up a sandwich and potatoe salad to go. The muffalta is very spicy. (I don't care for so much spice - so that's a personal issue) A very small container of potato salad is $8. For one sandwich and a small container of potatoe salad it was $25. So, a bit pricey... Knowing there can be a long wait here, we called ahead with our order for 12 people😱 We tried to order on line, but the message was that it had to be done the day before. Maybe because the orders for that day had reached the limit! Most of us got the muffulettas and 2 people ordered the grilled veggie... More

Started at the grocery, grabbed a chicken gruyere sandwich, quesadillas, frittatas and cheese. Ok, we only devoured the sandwich n quesadillas, all was perfect with the Chardonnay. I know that it is an "American Chardonnay" but seriously appreciate the weather, the food, the people sharing your meal, and this lovely tasting area. I am not a wine connoisseur. Make your... More

We stop here every time we are in Napa. We always pick up some sausage (they have several choices that they will cut for you) and cheese (again sevral choices) and bread. Great for picnic food to go with some wine you've purchased in the area. They also have alot of condiments to purchase as well. We love the rustic... More

The shop breathes old time flair, sports very trendy products and often is the resort of last hope when you forgot to make reservations for lunch. Be prpared for a long wait, because the sandwiches are made fresh to order. The result is ok, but we found the chicken cut much too thick, for example. But then, sanwiches are impossible... More

The Oakville Grocery store was a great stop to pick up lunch and picnic items for a day of winery tours. The sandwiches and provisions were excellent, however, be prepared for a 30 minute wait if the store is mildly crowded. Also be prepared for patrons who may have had a few too many glasses of wine.
