Squaw Valley is a super-fun resort with a nice mix of expert terrain and cruiser groomers. Though the crowds can get pretty extreme, the resort offers exceptional terrain with a fun apres atmosphere.

The same great ski runs and facilities that were there many years ago for the Olympics. Lots of mountain and good variety especially if you like off run skiing

A great venue (very difficult) to hold Spartan World Championships in north Lake Tahoe area. It's stunning beauty and location make it a must see while in Lake Tahoe area. Check out great bars and restaurants as well.

Home of the 1960 Winter Olympics, it looks a lot like Heavenly but tucked away in its own corner not far from Tahoe.

Jodi, Given the snow this year, there will be lots of pow. Squaw gets skied out very quickly on the weekends, but it is a large resort and you can find pockets. Just ask the staff or experienced skiers and they'll help... More
