Amazing!

I was very disappointed by my experience at the lift ticket & rental area. Unlike Heavenly, staff was not helpful at all. They just stood there and chatted with each other instead of paying attention to the customer. The parking situation was also very poor communicated. We found out after 2 hours waiting in line that there was no parking... More

Squaw is one of the many ski areas surrounding Lake Tahoe. What squaw lacks in vertical distance, they make up for with an expansive area to ski and snowboard in. Covering over 8,000 acres, you are sure to find plenty of area that meets your abilities. The village includes day parking, a couple of hotels (lodges), and several restaurants and... More

Have skied here for years, and in the past couple of years the combination of better marketing (i.e. they now know how to pack people in) and gross mismanagement (intentional or not?) of the mounting results in 1-run-per hour on any day where it has snowed more than 6 inches that day or even days before. i have skied a... We were here 1/4-1/5 2017. On the 4th, it was heavy, wet snow. We had a private family snowboarding lesson and the kids still wanted to go for it, even with the poor weather. Our instructor, Patrick, was really friendly and a good sport, considering we were getting soaked by the snow. He was great with our kids, got them... More

This ski hill has it all: terrific steeps, excellent beginner areas and very good blue slopes, but the staff is generally uninterested in the skiers and there is no urgency to complete avalanche control and open closed lifts, or to advise ticket purchasers that they may want a less expensive ticket because its much cheaper to ski on the lower... I've been on Squaw many times and is a amazing mountain with plenty of space and long runs. But you need to know everybody loves this mountain and it can get very crowded. Specially at the end of the day even the easy runs will have a few moguls that will challenge your tired legs so plan ahead and save... More

Squaw used to be the best mountain, by far, in Tahoe. Used to be. Now they have lift issues daily--rarely have enough lifts open. 15-30 minute lift lines are the norm. The lodging is great, but the mountain has dramatically changed for the worse. So, if you're going to hang out in the Village you'll enjoy it; if you're going... More

The best ski resort out in Tahoe as far as I know. Love the trail runs and I love that there's plenty of Ski Patrol scattered around! Very decent place and the village is pretty nice!

Too many rude young skiers. Traveling too fast. Not a mountain for the beginner My Wife had trouble. Beautiful scenery though. Snow can be iffy in Dec
