I stayed for one night in a one bedroom condo. The room was great and the bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately it poured rain the entire time I was there so I did not get to enjoy the village or the hiking but will definitely go again and do just that. There is a huge meadow just down from the... More

Was here for 10 days to work on lifts. It is very beautiful here when there is no snow. Go for a hike and check out the beautiful vistas. You won't be disappointed. The village is quiet during the non-skiing season. KT restaurant is open on certain nights of the week, but the Cornice Cantina is open every night for... More

beautiful place to visit. I have also been there in the winter and the skiing is off the chart. might need 4 wheel drive in the winter to get to the resorts.

I've been coming here for years. The traffic is the biggest hassle. Once your at the mountain, there is plenty of terrain of all levels. Avoid Mountain Run on busy days.

My wife and I enjoyed taking the tram from the base area at Squaw Valley USA to High Camp on Tuesday, 16 Aug 2016. We took advantage of a seasonal promotion on Tuesdays ("Bluesday") which allows one to purchase the Sightseeing Package at a $10 discount per person. We went up around 11am. At High Camp, we signed up for... More

I spend couple hours at the village. It was quite cheap for the experience. It was a cool experience to go up the gondola and take in the view of the lake and the Sierra. I wish I had gone there early in the morning to enjoy more activities.

We rode our bikes from TC up into the Squaw Village. What a beautiful ride. The town is charming and busy. Our meal at The Auld Dubliner was very good.

We spent several hours at Squaw Valley on our recent trip to Lake Tahoe. If you book 24 hours in advance you save $10 each on tickets on the gondola ride which takes you to the top of the mountain. We hiked, found snow, enjoyed the amazing views, visited the Olympic museum and ate lunch at the restaurant. There is... More

Took family to the the High Camp Pool/Hot tub. Although kind of pricey to go to the top and spend the day, we enjoyed the visit. We purchased the package for the family and took the tram to the top of the mountain. At the top there is the usual trail hiking - single track trails - along with a... More

Squaw Valley is one of our favorite ski resorts in the Lake Tahoe region. They consistently have good snow, and their grooming is top-notch. Back country bowls are excellent, as well, especially in good snow years. Terrain is excellent and geared toward intermediate, advanced, and expert skiers. Most people skiing here are serious about skiing and expect you to be,... More
