Put on your favorite tunes and be amazed by this ride through towering giants, at times lost in the mist.

This was a nice drive with many nice stops and hikes as you make your way. The lush fern covered forest is so beautiful. We got to see a bunch of Elk in the meadow at the end by the Ranger station. Awesome!

This drive is a must!!! Make sure you take the turn off for it- I would say it took us about an hour or so, but we stopped the car a couple times to take pictures. You could easily spend all day if you wanted....More

It is worth the extra 15-20 minutes over the freeway. Beautiful trees including the redwoods. Multiple open grazing meadows. We have always seen the gorgeous large white rumpled Roosevelt elk on this drive. Look for the elk but look for car(s) pulled over. Often someone...More

This was an ok drive but the Avenue of the Giants was much more scenic and grand. The best part of the park experience was the first beach you encounter when driving north. Beautiful beach with easy access and tall, foamy waves.

This drive which parallels 101 is the reason to go to this NP. The drive under the canopy of old growth redwoods is spell-binding. Plan to stop often, get out of your car, walk around - for short or long distances - and just look...More

Our son wanted to see every part of the redwoods, so he directed us to drive on the Newton B Drury Parkway. Along the way, we saw a sign which said "Ah-Pah Interpretive Trail 0.4 miles". We thought that sounded interesting, especially after we saw...More
