Rode up to the visitor on horseback from the Saddle dam parking lot off Kelly Ridge Rd. CA Park rangers were knowledgable and friendly. We took the opportunity to wiew the dam construction exhibit and some of the local wildlife. A very nice day.
Stopped by to get out of the hot weather. Always learn something new about the Oroville area. Rangers are very friendly and informative. Saw the detailed progress on Oroville Dam Spillway Construction.
Displays abound on the walk through including construction of the dam; how it all works, along with local history and a delightful exhibit including life-size models of Native Americans in their habitats. Visitors may select from a large collection of video's specific to the area...More
