Spent our honeymoon right across from Lover's Point at the Seven Gables Inn in 1989. We've been back to Pacific Grove every year since (sometimes, several times a year).

Lovers Point is a very popular spot on the Monterey Peninsula and this beach is fairly well protected from the Pacific Ocean waves. Always lots of kids and families and reasonably sheltered from the wind.

A great place to just sit and stare or partake of the activities available, kayaks, and bikes. A really stunning view of the bay, lots of places to climb the rocks.

The perfect beach for easy access and safety for kids due to having two separate protected coves separated by the pier. There is a snack bar grill with great local choices. There's also a rental place that has kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes located right on the beach. Only draw back is in the summer it tends to be foggy... More

Unless its foggy and cold, this is a wonderful place to experience the Monterey Bay in all its splendor. It's a five star place to hang out, people-watch, otter-watch, read, whatever.

This is a park right on the bay that is great for walking, having a picnic or letting the kids run around. It is also a great place to see the sunset and seal ions lounging on the rocks.

This was a wonderful place to walk to in the evening. The children enjoyed the quiet beach area and the climbing rocks. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and wonderful views.

So relaxing an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. So nice to see families enjoying the beach. The whole scenario is just gorgeous. We enjoyed walking through Victorian home neighborhood it's like going back in time. Beautiful walk nice people very friendly. Slower pace . Wonderful place to visit and walk just enjoy this gem...
