We parked at Calera Creek Water Recycling Plant and hike to the hill then end up in the beach. It’s a beautiful Saturday weekend celebrating St Pattick’s Day. Walking in pave pedestrian and bicycle path, we saw a beautiful garden in memory of the victim...More

Great beach to sit and watch the surfers and pick up some Taco Bell right on the beach. LOL At one point we counted 70 surfers.

The thing I liked the most at this beach was the options for the surfers. It has waves for different levels of experience. Also, really like the coastal feel, the hiking trail and that tiny Rockaway Town. Cool spot for surfers!

I've spent a bunch of afternoons here with my kids playing in the sand and daring each other to run into the SOOO cold water. Really great!

Some terrific waves crashing against the boardwalk here. We watched the surfers for about an hour as there was some real breakers out there.

Great beach. Lots of room to sit and watch all the surfers hitting the waves. Unfortunately you do have to pay a fee of $7 every time you go there for about 4 hours because it is a state beach. But it's clean and beautiful...More
