An excellent place to stop & stare, learn, and gain a little culture. A place to gain knowledge of local and international artists. Well worth your time.

The museum is small, very well done and has a sense of purpose rather than being a hand-me-down of the Palm Springs Art Museum. The museum focuses on regional artists and is able to do one artist at a time in its limited space. The...More

The museum doesn't overwhelm you. It's a great place to hide if it's 115 outside and you need a respite. And, the art is local, in large part, and very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and will go back when I'm next in the area.

Visited the museum with friends, mostly the exhibitions of contemporary art and sculpture. Impressive museum building.

It's confusing to have a Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert. The main Palm Springs Art Museum is about 16 miles away in downtown Palm Springs. That museum has a very nice collection. The Palm Desert branch has some nice sculptures, but the rotating...More

We always stop to see the exhibits at PSAM. It's a lovely museum, well curated and includes wonderful work by many incredible desert artists

The gallery is small but the quality of the exhibits are spectacular. The grounds and sculpture gardens are well done. An entirely different experience from the main galley in Palm Springs.

Check the PSAM website. I almost always check out the website of museums where I'll be traveling to see the logistics of visiting the museum and, most of all, what the exhibits will be while I'm there.
