A great way to spend a day, you drive up to the winding road and steep inclines and see lots of natural beauty, there is not much traffic on the road. Once you reach the base station you can take the Chair lift up the steep incline its like being in a elevator with windows. At the top the weather... More

We went up in the late afternoon, and it was moderately busy. We didn't realize that at the top there is very little to do. Out back are hiking trails, but they were icy/covered in snow. Out front there is a small deck with a viewing area. Maybe in warmer weather there is more to see, but we were rather... More

Wow, this is a stunningly breathtaking view from the tramway only to be topped off by a day of playing in the snow. I would say you need to plan a bit if you go on a long weekend though like we did. We sent someone ahead to buy tickets and then the group returned later as it was a... More

This was really great. Short, 15 minute ride to the 10,000 foot peak. Great views. Only $25 and $5 to park. It's cold at the top, so dress accordingly. Make sure your camera is charged as you'll get lots of good photos.

This is a 'MUST DO' when visiting Palm Springs!!! What terrific views!!! So many ecosystems to experience! Include this on your "to do list" when visiting the valley. One small note...we are seniors who purchased our tickets on Trip Advisor which doesn't offer a senior discount. If you are a senior and purchase your tickets at the base of tramway... More

We went at 3pm and had a two hour wait. It was almost dark when we got on the tramway. However, the ride was thrilling and the scenery fabulous! The ride down in the dark let us see the city lights and the star filled sky! Well worth the fee and wait. I would go earlier in the day though... More

This is my second time to go up this tram. Unlike the first time during summer which you can hike and explore the wonderful trail and nature; it was 20 degrees with 9” of snow on the mountaintop this New Year day. Not only this is one of the coldest weeks in Palm Springs, but we weren’t even prepared for... More

This was great fun. Absolutely stunning views. I suggest you go early. The lines when we came down the mountain were long. We ate at the restaurant at the top but you can pack your lunch and go for the day. It was cold at the top but very fun. They have gift shops if you forget anything. This is... More
