We went to the Andreas Canyon parking lot, thinking to see the pictographs and ancient rock dwelling. The literature we had must have been old, because we were told that the rock was sacred and we were not to walk up there to take a look. That was a disappointment. The parking lot is in an oasis, so even if... More

I did the Andreas Loop which took ~45 minutes including several stops to enjoy the view. Almost the entire hike is exposed, so if the sun is out (which is most of the time considering this is the desert) you will need hat, lotion and water. Relatively kid friendly. A nicer stroll, particularly if you have children is the Palm... More

Go early in the morning because it gets hot. Half of the loop is shaded and the other is not. Take water with you. Wear the right shoes because it has some rugged spots. It is really spectacular to see these giant palm trees in the middle of a rocky, desert landscape. They are fed by a creek. Very worthwhile.

When I think about Palm Springs, I think of the desert. However, when I noticed the streams running through Agua Caliente, I knew we had to hike that area. My wife and I enjoy leisure hiking and this location gives it to you. We didn't realize how many trails were available. Whether you are a serious hiker or novice walker... More

I had never been here because of the entrance fee but I regret being so cheap now. What a beautiful place! I want to go back again and again.

Loved this place, the trails, flowing water, palm trees, so beautiful and amazing. Can get a little crowed on the trails on weekends though.

Great time hiking in the spring. There are several trails the cross each other to make it a fun experience. Most of them sourounding the spring creek bed. There are plenty of animals to see and beautiful panoramic views. A touch of a cardio adventure!
