Don't miss street fair!

Great time walking all around the heart of Palm Springs. Good for people watching, interesting crafts, special eats and unique free street entertainment.

We really enjoy strolling this event. We start at one end with an early dinner at Sammy G's Tuscan Grill, walk down one side of the street and back up the other side. Sometimes we stop at a bar and rest with a cold one. There are plenty of benches if you don't want to buy a drink. Eclectic offerings... More

We arrived well before the 6 p.m. start time to browse the local shops first, and were very glad we did. We were able to see what food booths were preparing to serve before the crowds really began arriving. After making our choices we had one person save a bench to sit on while the others waited for the food... More

We always go hoping to find fresh strawberries and are seldom disappointed. There are many vendors, many dining options, and a great venue for people watching. It's a terrific way to stretch your legs after a day of lounging by the pool.

I must admit I was under the impression from the descriptions advertised that the shops downtown Palm Springs would remain open late and that there would be a few additional food venues, not as if this city needed more places to eat! What it really resembles is a NYC street fair where three to four blocks are closed off and... More

Do not miss this weekly event. Allow lots of time and bring some money. You will not walk away empty handed. Also, try some of the food. I ate first and was so sorry. People were raving. Next time.....more money and my appetite.

This might be a bit better when the weather is warmer and you can sit on the terraces. we were here during a cold snap and it was too cold to browse at all the stalls.

Every Thursday evening one can join the crowd s to walk the street fair on Palm Canyon drive. Many people make an evening out of it, have dinner and enjoy the crowds. Good entertainment and many local artists have crafts for sale.

This event goes on every Thursday Evening. Many local art and craft booths, well attended and festive. As you walk along you will find many great restaurants to choose from. If you are in town, this is a great way to spend the evening.
