We couldn't believe this forest was so close to the desert! Majestic trees (we actually hugged several!). Restaurant at top of mountain was ok...service was very good tho.

Spring is the perfect time of year to hike San Jacinto. The flowers are blooming, the temperature is perfect and the trail is free of snow and ice. Our hike started in Idyllwild on Devil's Slide Trail, making for a 16 mile round trip. The...More

We did the nature trail from Palm Springs Aerial Tram. It was short but I have foot problems and was happy we didn't bring a wheelchair or electric chair. I was able to sit along the path.

Great hiking trails at 9,000 feet elevation can be challenging if you are out of shape or have any breathing issues. Magnificent views.
