It is an easy walk to the canyon from downtown Palm springs. We were a little put off by the harsh reception we received when we tried to pay with our Canadian credit card. We were told by the clerk that if we didn't want...More

I had flown in from Toronto for four days to see Joshua Tree National Park and warm my bones in the sun, without benefit of boots and winter coat, so I could brave the rest of the six weeks of winter that Punxsutawney Phil has...More

We arrived early and hiked up to the falls, pretty much the first on the trail. Relatively easy hike, about 300ft elevation. The hike up and loop is about 2 Miles. Plenty to see up and down, wonderful hike. The cost is 12.50 a person,...More

The canyon is a good place for a hike and spend some quality time with nature. There are steep rock steps to maneuver, so you must be able to navigate those to make it all the way to the falls. Take your water...I recommend early...More

Great scenic hike for most people. I had to take several breaks along the way (I am NOT that physically fit), but the waterfalls at the end was totally worth the effort. The hike back was a bit easier on me. We stuck to the...More

Had a nice morning hike at Tahquitz. Took about 1-1.5 hours with photo stops. Easy hike - a few higher rock steps but nothing crazy. Beautiful views of canyon and Palm Springs. Very close to town makes for an easy visit. Really only the one...More

This trail offers breathtaking views of the canyon with wildlife and streams throughout. We saw many hummingbirds and lizards. There are a lot of steps, but it is not too tiring. There are plenty of places to stop, rest, and take in all of the...More

I have to preface this review with-I live 30 minutes from the Rocky Mountains. The 'hike' is a fairly easy stroll with some incline and big rocks to step up on it may be harder for those with knee or hip problems. It's convenient to...More

Well worth the fee of doing the hike. Lush surroundings, hummingbirds and stream with a waterfall at the top! You would not believe you are in a desert! Easy 2 mile hike round trip. It is rocky and you walk over boulders but manageable. A...More

Really pretty waterfall and great views of Palm Springs! The hike is a little more than easy, but still a nice hike. Be sure to take water and wear a hat. They do have some at the entrance if you forget. Worth the hike!
