I would say that the only benefit of a visit here is perhaps coming away with a helpful map, and the use of a restroom. Nothing special.

The gentlemen who work here know their Palm Springs, a miracle of friendly service. If you don't you have any own ideas of what you want to see, leave it to the professionals behind the counter.

Probably one of the worst visitor centers I have ever stopped at. Nothing to offer other than things to purchase that say Palm Springs on them. Used the restrooms and took some photos outside- but that was the extent of it.

Thanks so much for your input. We’re disappointed that you didn’t enjoy being at our Visitor Center, as many people love the mid-century modern look, the knowledgable staff, and all the information we are able to provide about what to do and see. But we do appreciate your honest input and look to make a visit to Palm Springs a... More

Very friendly, helpful staff who know everything about the local area. They gave us very useful advice and some maps of the surrounding area. Well worth a visit.

We stopped in here briefly to pick up a historic home map ($5.45). The guy had lots of great recommendations for other things to do. Definitely a worthwhile stop (cool building is a bonus).

Several of the bins with local info were empty and the place is clearly set up as a money-maker. The staff was friendly and did answer questions, but that seemed secondary to the "shop" aspect of this place.

When I came to PS looking to find a tennis court, that is the first place I went to, and they were very helpful in directing me to Ruth Hardy Park. The people who work there are very knowledgable about PS and can suggest several things to see and do that you may have never thought of. If you're new... More

I don't give 5's too often, but for what it is, it is great. They have Palm Springs tourist stuff and the staff is very helpful.
