This is a friendly and welcoming place where you can visit small art exhibits or openings, take adult or child art classes from talented artists/teachers (water color, acrylic painting, journaling, drawing, etc. through the city's Enjoy catalogue, make use of a substantial pottery studio, and there is decent parking. The room space just feels nice too - they update the... More

We like it that the Palo Alto art center has a variety of art classes. These span various artistic techniques such as ceramics, clay, jewelry, art, painting, travel photography, and so forth. We check their web site for current offerings. The center also has periodic events. and exibits. We went to the recent creative ecology exhibit which was quite nice.

The recently renovated Palo Alto Art Center offers a large variety of classes taught by excellent instructors and artists that are passionate about their art. The Center offers daytime and night time classes for adults and for kids in their spacious new facility.

For a "small town" this Art Center always has something to see. Multiple exhibition spaces including outdoor sculptures. Worth a visit for visitors, a must for locals. Excellent classes for adults and children, including summer programs.

I attended the 2015 Mobile Digital Arts Conference there in August this year, and have been a few other times for other arts-related events. They have a lovely, large outdoor area and a brand new events room. The gift shop is tiny but has a nice selection of hand-made items, and the facility offers a wide variety of art experiences... I have been visiting the Art Center for years. Since the renovation and change of directorship and other staff, the art exhibits lack the quality they had before. I was so embarrassed when I took some artist friends to the opening show. What a travesty. The exhibit was third rate at the best. With so many wonderful and internationally known... More

Cool little place. Nice and shady area in a nice neighborhood. The art exhibits are a little non-traditional (a dead Mickey Mouse on the floor, a dead orca on a block of ice), but in conjunction with an event, not half-bad place to visit on a weekend.

This little gem hidden in PA has it all, there is a park, an art center with workshops, gift shop, restrooms and occasionally there are special exhibits where you can buy items made by local artists. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. There is street parking as well as a parking lot.

This is a newly renovated center that we just happened to stop into. It had good art, a very good gift shop and a good and positive ambience. It's worth a shirt visit.
