We had a one hour tour of the house and gardens which included so many fascinating details that we never would have seen ourselves. A little dark. They are trying to protect the antiques but perhaps they could take advantage of the European models that...More

This is one of the many historic buildings in Pasadena. It is from the Proctor and Gamble fame. Plenty of other places to see near by like Norton Simon Museum, Wrigley Mansion aka(Tournament of Roses House) and of course old town.

Arguably the finest example of the Green and Green brothers contribution to the Arts and Crafts movement. Docent led tours are highly recommended. The beauty is often in the details, so take your time.

The Metro line stops around 1 mile from the House, and there is a bus which goes from Metro to very near the House. The directions are posted on the Gamble House website.
