It is worth the drive from the highway. We liked all of the wine we tasted and bought. A more mature staff than any of the other tasting rooms we went to and very knowledgeable.

J Lohr wines were first discovered by MOI, as Miss Piggy would say, back in the mid 1980's when I was in Monterey County. I was impressed then and continues to this day. If you go to their tasting room in Paso Robles, try and...More

We love J. Lohr chardonnay and we were so excited to go to this tasting room. We were expecting a grand building like so many of the wineries. It's not, but the inside is nice and the people are great and of course, so is...More

So, my first time tasting wines from this vineyard and it was really well done... tasting (6 wines and your choice from a nice selection) and no charge (well done).. also, nice to get thin bread-sticks to eat to help clear the palate between wines.......More

We were hesitant to go to J. Lohr because of its mass production but decided to give it a try. Heck, it's free, right? The tasting menu included their library wines for $5.00 tasting fee. The wine was surprisingly good and we were fortunate enough...More

While I generally like J Lohr wines, I found their tasting room to be unimpressive and very basic. It did not have any ambiance and was not inviting. The tasting experience was rather lackluster. Overall it is not a winery I would return to, but...More

Visited the tasting room over the Memorial Weekend. It was busy as expected but we still enjoyed some great wine, beautiful views and free tastings. Looking forward to returning.

The wines available at the winery are not the wines you can find in the grocery store. It was a great find for us. Simon was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. We had a great time!

The tasting room is fairly basic by typical Paso Robles standards, but it is nice and off the beaten path, and I consider that a big plus in a wine country that can be overrun by crowds. The selection of wines was excellent, with a...More

You should not have a problem with the stroller. It is a flat parking lot and entrance into the facility. There seemed to be enough room inside to move around without feeling crowed. I think you will be fine. Have fun.
