In 1973, Gary Eberle began his career in the wine industry by heading his family's Estrella River Winery (currently 360 Degrees in Paso Robles) and produced 500,000 cases a year at its facility. Eberle's pioneering spirit didn't stop there. In 1980, he co-founded the Paso Robles Appellation and in 1983, Gary opened the doors to his own Eberle Winery with the premiere of Eberle's 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Today, Eberle handcrafts 25,000 cases of wine each year from surrounding Estate vineyards. And, after more than 33 years since the release of the Eberle label, the winery consistently remains one of the highest award-winning wineries in the United States. The German name "Eberle" translates to "small boar." At Eberle Winery, a bronze boar greets every guest who visits the Tasting Room. The statue is the 93rd replica of the original bronze Porcellino cast by Tacca in 1620. And today, the original can be found in the straw market in Florence, Italy. It is considered good luck to rub the boar's nose and toss a coin in the water below.

Guest enjoy complimentary wine tasting and cave tours daily. Reservations for VIP Tour & Tasting, groups of 8 or more guests or reserve tastings please contact in advance.

Eberle Winery was our absolute favorite winery we visited. They could not have been nicer! We met Gary Eberle on our way in to the tasting room and he made us feel welcome immediately. He spent so much time with us telling us about his wines and Paso Robles. We took his cellar tour which was really informative. We then... More

Recommended by friends, we stopped at Eberly Winery on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. The picnic area was delightful as you could enjoy the sunshine overlooking the vines as they were turning beautiful fall colors. In the tasting room the wines were generously poured by a friendly staff. In addition, we were able to join in on a cave tour and... More

This is a great gathering spot for friends and family. The views are amazing. I experienced the cave tour and I was a little disappointed because the tour was about 5 minutes. So, depending on who your tour guide maybe it could be longer than 5 minutes. The wine is okay but it's just my personal taste. But you might... More

We were greeted with a smile and tasted some very good wine and had a fun cave tour. The cave was just a big underground cask storage area. Beautiful grounds and setting.

We stopped at Eberle Winery. A friendly woman greeted us just as we walked in. She offered a tour of the winery caves starting in a few minutes and gave us a cute boar patch. Our tour guide was Dave. He did a wonderful job. All the employees were inviting. Cave was very cool. Pizza fresh from brick oven pizza... More

This winery is absolutely beautiful. It sits on a hillside with a fantastic view of the surrounding area. The wines are deep, rich and very flavorful. The Port was excellent, along with the Barbarra and the Carbernet Sauvignon. Kathi met us at the door with a smile and a small gift. Kirk poured our wine and then gave us a... More

We had a tour wine and brought our lunch to share on the patio. The views are spectacular. The staff here was very attentive and we had our own private wine tasting because we had a large group with us. I would recommend visiting here.

This was a surprise winery. Although certainly recognized by any in Paso Robles it was new to me. The patio area, where the grill food, has an amazing view. I am a little disappointed we could not stay for food but am told, the food is "off the hook". Get ready, yes, they offer complimentary (yes, you read it correct),... More

My first time visiting this winery for a concert in the wine cave. The tasting room is small, but overlooks the distillery which is very interesting. The concert in the caves provided fantastic acoustics. Wow, it was superb! I expected it to be cold in there, but it was actually very warm - maybe due to that glass of wine???... More

We made our annual pilgrimage to Eberle Winery during the Harvest Festival Weekend. Despite the rain, it was fantastic - a bit more crowded due to the rain, but everything worked out. The olive oil and vinegar tasting was a nice touch, as was the barbecue. Staff did a great job of dealing with the crowds and the rain. We... More
