Let me start with why this place is great: 1. Natural water! you can see the water coming form a well right into the pool, so there is no any kind of processing. 2. It's really clean. The water runs through the pool at fairly high rate, so it is as good as it gets. 3. Plenty of space. All kinds. Easy to park, the pool is large, plenty of space around to have a picnic. 4. Cheap. 5. Good restrooms/shows to change. 6. Stars! If you stay after sunsets, there is very little background light and you can see stars really well. 7. There are all kinds of people here. Families with young kids, seniors, couples. While it may look ratchet, it's actually well run in a sense it's safe and welcome for everyone. Why it's not for everyone: The cheap has the other side. The structures are basic. They all function great, just don't have the upscale feel and they won't look like a resort commercial on Instagram.

Imagine you have a really cool neighbor with an old ranch property that they discovered a hot spring in a few decades ago. He set up a bunch of ramshackle-looking ways for folks to come by and soak, maybe eat a picnic, and just hang out for as long as they like, as long as they don't make trouble. That's this place. Sound appealing? Come on by! Want something posh, serene, and sterile? Don't. :)

This is a unique spot. You might be turned off by the condition of grounds, but the water itself has a wonderful benefit to the users. it bubbles out at 100+ degrees and the major pool is large enough to allow swimming and exercising. the facility would rate a five star review if grounds and amenities were as great or nearly as great as the water.

While being quite rustic, the water is very clean. Very healing minerals for all sorts of ailments. All kinds of people visit from all walks of life. I visit this place weekly and have never had an issue.

I agree with the other reviews. Yes, it's not 5 stars, yes there are broken vehicles and junk around. But it was quiet, peaceful and the area around the spring itself was clean. The Franklin brothers were really nice.
