The staff knows wine, knows how to entertain during a tasting and the atmosphere, well it's a little..."The Nightmare Before Christmas" and a little "dark" but that makes it fun! All the artwork throughout has a story and history which is fascinating. Ok, let's talk...More

The wines are very good the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The castle is beautiful. An amazing art collection, much of which is also used in their wine labels. Great tasting room, but even better patio for leisurely sampling their great wines.

I don't know if it's part of any organized tours, but it's very easy to get to independently (right on Hwy 46) and there are several other good wineries nearby.
