This is the sister winery to Sobon, the wines are very different, but equally good. Make this a stop on your wine tour. No tasting fee, just good wine and good service.

It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I were in the Amador wine country 2 weekends ago for the annual Crush event, where we bought a ticket that gave us unlimited tasting and food. We had a great time, visiting 11 wineries over 2 days. We visited Shenandoah late in the second day, and tasted a variety of whites... More

We stopped here for the first time during the Behind the Cellar Door event. The view from this winery is beautiful! Its a great place for a picnic and they have some tables available. We sampled quite a few of their wines and liked many of them! The tasting room staff were very friendly and they also had gift items... More

I love coming here for the views and the wines. Owed by same owner as Sobon. I enjoyed many of the wines, especially the higher end zins.

We visited here on July 11, 2015. Really enjoyed the view, has a charging station for electric cars, nice tasting experience, gift shop and picnic area. We liked several of their wines. Great location and close to several other wineries.

Shenandoah Vineyards was our first stop on a wine tasing tour and not a great experience. We made reservations as suggested and were told of the time that we had to be out. In those words...out. I certainly undrstand they probably had reservations following ours, but it was a bit rude. Upon arrival we were loudly told from the door... More

These guys are related to Sobon -- amazing wine! We were just in the Shenandoah tasting room last Saturday. They have a nice big tasting room and very knowledgeable staff. The wines were not a disappointment. Their Reserve Zin and amazing Cab Franc stole the show, though. Great experience. And we did not leave without a case wine!

Definitely a "must-hit" in Amador county. Great wine; great pours; great staff. Laid back and no hassle. Always have extra pourings. We always walk out with too much :)

Shenandoah and Sobon are owned by the same family and the wines here are made with the same dedication and love of the grapes. If you are a Zinfandel devotee you will certainly bring home something you taste here. They consistently win for their wines and the prices will not break the bank.
