Had many great walks on the beach. A very remote location. We got pulled over by Highway Patrol for a tinted winshield. We cannot even tell if the windshield is tinted. We think it was because we are out of state.

Whethers yo're into windswept sex, , down filled hoodies and a romp with the dog, or throwing your drunken heartbreak into the icy surf... you've almost certainly come to the right place.

Beautiful spot. Small, easy trek to the beach. One trick, go right. So, it looks like there is one way to go. It's a big trail, and seems the most logical. But that trail will take you to a cliff, you can't get down to...More

Love this expansive beach almost as much as our dogs do. It is true that the walk across the dunes is a bit arduous, but this likely is the reason we had the entire beach to ourselves, except for the whales swimming a hundred yards...More

little bit of drive north of Point Arena where we stayed at Lighthouse. colors of all the foliage around rolling sand dunes, maybe tough to get down to the beach but doable. very windy but plenty of wonderful photo ops.

Felt like our own private beach. Visited during the weekday so maybe that is why it was not crowded.Or maybe I'm just used to Morro bay and Pismo where the beaches are always busy.

This is my favorite place in Point Arena, I've spent many hours over the years walking the beach and meditating. I've even got lost, on a New Years Eve, when the fog rolled in and I missed the trail to the parking lot. This is...More
