You will enjoy steep mountain loose rock paths if you have been on a horse at least once before. We had a first time family gathering (25) at Gold Lake Beach Resort. Part of our four days of fun was having 17 of us take a 2.5 hour ride from Gold Lake up into the Lakes Basin. There were all ages. They are the best horses are well trained for any level rider.and sights are breathtaking. I went on the 2.5 hour ride wish it could have been a 7 hour

Went out with Reid Cattle Co from Quincy ,Ca Can't say enough good things about them. Excellent food, guides and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend them. Well worth the price!
