We visited the Wildlife Research Center in February to see the Wild birds in flight. I plan to take my young nephews back next year. It is a free show, although a donation would be nice to provide and well worth it. It is something to see for all ages.

See raptors native to the area, and others during their "hawk watch" days. They also set up spotting scopes so you might have a chance to see a bald eagle. Lots of friendly people who know a whole lot about birds. Beautiful views from the property. Gift shop too. I recommend this!

My third trip to the annual Hawk Watch last Feb was somewhat spoiled by the rain, which fell all morning, but the staff was cheerful, helpful and most informative. This is a nice way to see hawks, other raptors and wildlife up close. The volunteers that adopt and care for these birds are dedicated to the cause of conservation. One... More
