I live in the Coachella Valley area. As is often the case, those things most readily available are overlooked because we perceive them to always be there. I finally went with another local and will be a return visitor shepherding out of town visitors to...More

Regardless of you political views, the Sunnylands Estate is an important piece of American history. It is beautifully maintained, the docents wells informed and worth every effort to obtain tickets. Highly recommended.

It was great to see the house and hear the story and learn about the family history. The visitor center and garden was just ok. The hightlight is the tour of the house. So make sure you make reservation in advance before your visit.

Online booking a month in advance is worth the wait. Very historical property where most modern presidents have visited as well as many of the famous mid-20th century celebrities. Great grounds. Totally mid century housing. A bit to miss while in the desert.

George Schultz lauded Sunnylands as place of discourse. Richard Nixon headed straight here after his recognition writing in the guest book; "I know who may friends are." Unbelievable mid century modern super home with super history. The #1 must see in Palm Springs and possibly...More
