The Gary Players course connected with the Mission Inn is a little gemstone. It's an 18 hole, par 72, that will challenge the most avid player, but also friendly enough for the beginner. 4 hours and 20 minutes of pure fun. Fairways are manicured and greens roll fairly quick. Definitely a must in the Palm Springs area.

We were in town on business and had a chance to get out for a round. We were paired with a couple guys from Minnesota that were fun to play golf with. The course was in very good shape and it was a great layout.

Spent the day playing unlimited golf at the Gary Player course. The course was in amazing shape and the greens were perfection. If you are an average golfer this course is very forgiving. The staff was friendly and the pace of play good. We had a chance to play the Pete Dye course as well, but everyone we spoke to... More

Although we had a bit of trouble finding the course (a sign or two along the way would be helpful), we arrived early enough for our tee time. Both the Pro Shop Staff and Starter were friendly and helpful with info and directions. As others have mentioned, this is not a fancy clubhouse & restaurant facility - clean & simple... More

I've played golf on top courses all over the world and the Gary Player Signature course is now one of my all time favorites. Every hole is quite different from every other, and each feels isolated from the others. They view of the mountains is spectacular, and on the day we were there it was enhanced by a bright, enormous... More

The experience we had playing here late November makes one realize why so many golfers are quitting the game. While the course itself has the potential to be very playable and quite attractive nothing else measures up. We were restricted to cart paths only as fairways, greens were in poor shape - urea (was it??) spread around all greens!!! Marshals... More

Everybody talks about the Pete Dye or the Dinah Shore golf courses but the best of them all is the Gary Player 18. They didn't spend much money on a fancy clubhouse or fountains and landscaping. The Player 18 was in the best condition of the three courses we've played so far. The pro shop guy was TJ from Media,... More

Golfing on the Gary player course was breathtaking. The vistas of desert landscaping along the course are beautiful and the course is challenging. Staff was very welcoming and helpful! The cafe inside the clubhouse has a great southwest salad among many other choice options.

Visited this as part of golf package for a weeks trip to Palm Springs, California. A group of twelve of us visited: thoroughly enjoyed the course which winds its way at times past homes. Unfortunately the clubhouse, shop and bar do not do it any favours. Bar/dining area was more like a canteen, with beers and drinks coming out of... More
