Windswept Ranch is a working exotic animal ranch that offers tours each Saturday, March - October. Visitors get up close and personal with zebra, camels, bison, reindeer and more. There are different activities each Saturday including pony rides, camel rides, pony painting and animal walking. A picnic area is provided and cold drinks are available for sale.

Personal, educational and enjoyable! 138 animals all with their own stories (many rescues!). A volunteer tour guide takes you to each area and introduces you to the animals. It may seem remote but it is only 15 min from Tehachapi (if that). Open on Saturdays....More

You can call 661-972-1901. Their volunteers hours are from 8 to 1 on Monday through Friday, and 10 to 4, on Saturdays. Hope that helps.
