This place is fun for a few hours but don't pay the full price, use any discount you can. They do have security scanning the parking lot quite often. It's an ok place.

They are very strict and actually discourage people from having fun by always telling people how to act over their silly PA system. I suppose it is okay for small children and such but I would just never go back

Bear Bear has pretty much only man-made snow so skiing isn't great but for a really fun family day of sledding Snow Valley is definitely the best of the sledding places. The 2 runs are long with plastic sleds included in the entry price. You...More

$35 on a "holiday" (Monday between Christmas and New Years). Sled runs are packed, although the ski lifts have very short lines. 1/2 hour to 45 minute waiting time between runs. Unacceptable for $35. At 1pm they were still selling sledding tickets to people, despite...More

Spent 3 days in the Lake Arrowhead are recently. My granddaughter and friend wanted to go sledding. It had just snowed the previous night, so we drove from Lake Arrowhead to a sledding and tubing area just west of the Snow Valley ski runs. Price...More

Drove up at round 10AM. There was a fresh coat of snow. The air smelled declicious, like pine trees. There was awsome slopes for play. It started snowing at round 1PM. We decided to drive down. Be careful with weather conditions when visiting. If snow...More

I am not aware of any hotels in Running Springs. Either Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead would be the closest that I am aware of. They are both approximately 10-12 miles from Running Springs!
