I recently visited Sacramento State University while participating in the annual run to feed the Hungry on Thanksgiving. What a lovely campus. I especially enjoyed walking over the Guy West pedestrian suspension bridge over the American River.

Much has changed over the years and somethings have stayed the same. The campus is growing and improving but, the academics are STILL some of the best in certain fields of study, Criminal Justice, Engineering, and Business. Not all schools should be based on their...More

I'm slightly biased about this campus, however, I would argue that the proximity to the rive is the best thing going. Opportunities for recreation are in abundance on this campus and surrounding areas. Students enrolled prior to 2010 have full access to "The Well," a...More

I graduated from here in early 1974. I live about five miles away and ride my bike through the campus on a regular basis. Stay away Monday the Friday because of so many students. Weekends are best and easier to ride without stopping. So many...More
