Worth the Stop!

I'm honestly not sure what all the fuss is about here. Yeah it's cool that these almonds are sold all over the world. Yeah, they have some items you won't find in stores. But at the end of the day, almonds and gift shops are expensive. And gift shops aren't really all that interesting. Maybe there is a tour Pfisterer... More

We actually found this place by accident. The visitors center is simply a video about the almond industry in California, but I was amazed at how much I learned. This almond plant is on 90 acres right in the heart of Sacramento! Who knew? The store is really quite fun with wonderful samples of the different flavors of almonds put... More

My wife and I are nuts about nuts. Always seems to be on our list of places to go on our trips. When in Sacramento for a short visit we saw the ad for Blue Diamond Almonds and we immediately headed over to their store. Nice assortment to choose from and tasty samples too. Cashier was super nice and helpful.

Just visited the store and found it a nice stop for a brief visit. You can purchase and more importantly sample for free all of the various "Blue Diamond Almonds". On the day I visited they were offering "Raw Almonds" for $6.49 per lb. Staff in the store were definitely friendly and helpful. To visit is an easy walk from... More

The "tour" consists of a detailed film describing how almonds are grown, processed, and packaged. Fans of the TV show "How It's Made" will be delighted by how almonds are harvested, sorted, cleaned, roasted, seasoned, and packaged. The film is slanted towards emphasizing the safety, cleanliness, and palatibility of almonds, but is acceptable. The Outlet Store has a bewildering assortment... More

no tour for the last decade, (was great a couple decades ago) no damaged packaging almonds which is a primary reason to go to such a store. No big discounts. There is a video about the industry and company which was good. So, really what is the reason to go out of your way to go here? A video? Sure... More

We visited the Blue Diamond store while staying in Roseville, CA. We asked the clerk to play the 20 minute video which we found informative. Once done with that, we went into the retail store and sampled a lot of almonds. They had sample containers of all their different flavors. After selecting our top four, we browsed some of the... I love smokehouse almonds. I have been ordering them for Christmas gifts the last 3 years. Almonds are great and the gifts show up on time.
