HALL Wines is a family-owned, critically acclaimed premier Napa Valley...

HALL Wines is a family-owned, critically acclaimed premier Napa Valley vineyard and winery with five estate vineyards of classic Bordeaux varietals. As a specialist in Cabernet Sauvignon, each vintage the winemaking staff crafts 15 distinct Cabernet blends which demonstrate the unique characteristics and diversity of the Napa Valley. Their highly rated wines have included the 2008 'Kathryn Hall' Cabernet Sauvignon selected as Wine Spectator's #2 wine in the world in 2011, the 2010 'Exzellenz' which received 100 points from Robert Parker in 2013, and the 2006 'Exzellenz' selected as Wine Enthusiast's #1 wine in the world in 2009. HALL's Napa Valley estate vineyards are Certified Organic and employ cutting-edge vineyard technology to yield the highest quality grapes. In addition, the HALL St. Helena winemaking facility was the first LEED(R) Gold Certified Winery in the State of California, making HALL Wines a pioneer in the use of green buildings in the wine industry. The site maintains one acre of solar panels on its roof and uses 100% recycled water throughout its processes. Each of HALL's spectacular winemaking facilities, HALL St. Helena and HALL Rutherford, showcases installations from the Hall family's extensive modern art collection.

Spur of the Moment Stop

We stopped in after another tasting and they got us right in for a tasting! Very nice property, staff, and wine, of course!

You will know you are here when you see it. Gleaming by the side of Rt 101 just outside St Helena. This is one of the most beautiful tasting and touring Wineries in Napa Valley. As if their exquisite wines weren't enough, the grounds and buildings are filled with unique artwork to see. Reservations are a must for tours although... More

The good folks at Hall were able to accommodate a very large group. They maintain a beautiful garden with lots of lavender and plenty of art scattered throughout the grounds. Wine as great. Had to get some shipped home.

My wife and I recently visited the Hall Wines in St. Helena and thought it was a fun experience. The wine that we sampled during our tasting was very good. The views from the deck are some of the better views from the Napa Floor. The winery had a large vendor event going on, so we were unable to see... More

You know you're at Hall when you see the giant Little Bunny Fu Fu greeting you at the entrance. Wines are extraordinary, especially the Cabernets. If you are lucky to attend an event, they go all out to make it special and memorable. Aside from the wines, there is a garden, a sculpture garden, interesting art, and a terrific tour... More

We had a tasting of their Cabernet Sauvignon and it was excellent. Tasted four wonder cabs. Wine staff did an excellent job of explaining the wines and the vineyards. Also was helpful with wine club information. The winery has a very nice collection of modern art inside and outside. Very nice outdoor area except the weather was the best on... More

I love this winery. Open spaces and contemporary architecture that actually works in the wine country. Furnishings and lighting and art installations are delightful.

Living in Canada means we won't be members so I wasn't expecting the red carpet. I was wrong! It was raining and chilly but the entire HALL staff were welcoming, friendly and ready to pour. From the moment we walked in early for our Ultimate Cab Experience, to the end, I don't think we had an empty glass. The welcome... More

My wife and I visited Hall St. Helena and did the Ultimate Cabernet Experience. The wines were amazing and the tour guide was great. This particular tour only explores The Founders Cellar (which is amazing). Would love to see this tour expanded to include more of the great property.

Have been a member for the past year, but have never toured the St. Helena venue. The tour was delightful and informative, with delicious wine to sip along the way. The seated tasting that followed went through some of the higher level wines not available in the general tasting area. Our friends ended up joining as well. Wonderful experience!
