We arranged to visit Frias because we thought we were going to see them on the Vineyard. It turned out that it was not possible to do that so the visit was in their new wine room. Although the atmosphere was pleasant and the Wine...More

This was our second tasting of Frias Family Vineyard wines. The Frias brothers, Manny and Fernando, and their partners have done so much to promote the winery over the past year. Last year we tasted their wines at their Spring Mountain vineyards. Gorgeous views. This...More

The tastings are held in a tasting room, not at the winery. Regardless, the wines are amazing. The have some nice big cabs. This a small family owned winery, and only make a few wines at a time.

Some of wineries and tastings can get a little cookie-cutter-uniform. Thankfully, upon a recommendation and personal connection, we visited Frias Family Vineyard. We fell in-love with the warmth and casual ease of our Frias tasting. The wines were divine and Manny made us feel like...More

Our limo driver took us up to this winery. The setting was ok, some porta-potty's and a small tented area with table. The service and wine education were also good. Overall, the winery experience itself was personal and small, but primitive. Here's the catch. They...More

Visited Napa for my 20 year anniversary. We went to 10 wineries and Frias was our favorite stop. Our knowledgeable driver Logan, suggested we stop by in between our other scheduled tours. Sitting on the hillside enjoying one of the most fabulous views in Napa,...More
