The San Clemente Pier is always fabulous. Throughout the year there are various festivals and activities being held on and near the pier. This visit we were there for Oceanfest, which we've attended many times. There were Woodys displayed on the pier and a multitude...More

We made a point of walking the beautiful long pier every evening around sunset. The Fisherman's Restaurant at the start of the pier first provided a memorable meal. Then watching the surfers riding the waves while the sun slowly sank into the sea - it...More

Great place to enjoy sunset! Bring a jacket or sweater. It can get chilly sooner than you think as the sun sets.

Quintessential California pier that allows you to be out on the ocean without being in the water. Great of Dana Point to the north.

I did not eat at the restaurants but I definitely will next time I visit with those beautiful views. Lots of good food and bathrooms. People watching is a must.

I visited the San Clemente Pier last summer and there were so many small rocks all over the beach that it made it uncomfortable to walk on or lay down in the sand!! Anyone else have this same problem?

We had so much fun visiting during the July 4th time frame. The pier is very clean. We took family pictures on the pier. There is one restaurant. Fun place for sure. Fireworks good!

A beautiful wooden pier that stretches 1/4 mile into the Pacific Ocean. Watch Fishermen try their luck or watch the surfers catch some waves while keeping a look out for dolphins. Grab a bite to eat at the Fishermans which offer a fantastic happy hour...More

I have to think really near. We had to cross the tracks in order to get on the pier and restaurant. We did not pay attention to the stop in that vicinity. Check the metro link on line for stops.

I didn't notice any on the pier but there is a San Clemente SURFBOARD RENTALS - 949-369-7873. Perhaps you can call them and see if their location is good for you.
