It's a small museum, so the price is just right ($10 per adult), and it features local artists. The theme is mostly modern/contemporary. There's a cafe too. Nice way to spend 45-60min in downtown San Jose.

I had extra time on a Monday morning, so I walked around the museum. I found the most interesting exhibits were the American Scene prints, and the The Propeller Group's "The AK-47 vs The M16, 2015, fused AK-47 and M-16 projectiles encased in ballistics gel"....More

Small museum mainly dealing with contemporary art. The exterior of the building is very inviting but the collection inside is very limited unless there are special exhibits going on. Worth a visit if you have the time. Not a must visit with all the choices...More

Some amazing exhibits. Saw a photography exhibit that was surprisingly creative and breathtaking. Don't miss this place if you are staying in downtown area.

Always a pleasure to visit. Price can vary by featured exhibit. Great cafe and museum shop. In good weather, plaza is great place to eat. Close to light rail, Tech Museum, lots of restaurants.

We visited there as part of a larger trip to the San Jose area. Spent about an hour there. Small exhibition space relative to the size of the building. They were transitioning for a new exhibit, so maybe it will be more substantial at another...More

I love this gem of a museum. I used to work down the street from here and they have a really good cafe where you can sit down and have lunch served on crisp linens as well as a togo cafe. They're both really reasonably...More

I visited last month on Smithsonian Day (free admission at hundreds of museums nationwide) and was highly disappointed. After spending the summer at The Art Institute of Chicago and the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, you have to wonder why the nation's 10th largest city...More
