I have done many a walk on this trail and my husband used to bike on it. There are many great spots on it but the farther you get into town the less, pretty it is.

Wide paths and lots of shade for walking or bicycling. take a leisurely bike ride and stop along the way to look at the creek, filtration pond and Vasona park and reservoir.

This trail is a really nice idea for the middle of urban mania. If it wasn't for many locals who have no courtesies or class while bicycling way too recklessly on it, it would be a perfect place for walking, running, etc.

Did a 5K here around the park, it is really pretty and lots of spots to picnic or just sit by the lake. The race was really fun and even with that going on the park was not crowded.

I go there twice a week to get relaxed and exercise. An hour walk at this trail will definitely add some time to your life span... Manicured trail becomes picture perfect with accompanying view of the mountains, creek, trees, lawn and the people enjoying it....More
