It's certainly neat to be able to walk around a giant Monopoly board, but after about five minutes the novelty wears off. It's worth a visit if you're within a few blocks, but really not worth traveling any real distance to see unless you're a real Monopoly freak.

this is a real authentic theme for a local park. the complement of a fine museum in other words. Can't wait to win free parking some time!

A park that has a very large Monopoly Board! I noticed it during one of my trips, from a 'map' program I was using. Noticed the large Monopoly Board, and went to check it out. The park was clean, and it seems peaceful and relaxing. For those folks that love to play Monopoly, this is a must see.

So, I've been wanting to check this place out some time and whenever my friends and I go on a road trip it was always forgotten. Anywho, if you're expecting more for this area don't expect too much. Would I say it's worth a drive? Depending on how far you are actually. 1-2hrs max. Although we did come here on... More

The board isn't as big as I thought it would be from the pictures I've seen. Its cute for a 5 minute stop to take some pictures if you're nearby, but nothing to go out of your way for. The dice and board are stuck in place in the public park, but if you want to play the actual game... More

If you want to play a "quick" (hah!) game of Monopoly with your friends or family on the "Largest Permanent Monopoly Board" (according to the Guinness Book of World Records), feel free to give it a shot. I treated it as an interesting piece of public art, took a couple of quick photos (accompanying this review), and headed back for... More

To find this location Google the Discovery Childrens on Woz, San Jose or the Convention Center, the Monopoly in the Park is right next door to either location. Except the dice, none of the other pieces were out. If this is supposed to be in the Guinness Book, the city should have all the pieces out so you can get... More

We have watched people playing Monopoly in the Park, but haven't played ourselves. It is perfect, especially if you love playing Monopoly at home. It's a wonderful game to play out in the park. I recommend it highly.
