This part of San Jose was its own semi-autonomous community for many years up until the 1950s or so, and it has a mixture of nice coffee shops, restaurants and banks within about a five block stretch of Lincoln Ave. There are no chain retail stores but several boutique shops. It is convenient to the Tamien Caltrain/light rail/bus station and... More

There are more than a dozen restaurants on Lincoln avenue plus coffee shops, ice cream parlors, beauty salons, art galleries... and banks :) Yes, it's kind of San Jose's Wall Street. Variety of restaurants is quite impressive from sushi to healthy Mexican to Greek and French... Actually there are more restaurants and shops then famous Santana Row nearby, and much... More

Great shopping, wonderful boutiques and beauty parlors, plenty of restaurants, and cute clean storefronts. You can easily spend the whole day wandering around and shopping/eating/pampering yourself in Willow Glen.

A little town that is growing up. Some say the growth is a problem, others love it. The Road Diet along Lincoln Ave has brought more seating areas to the street businesses. Spas & restaurants festoon the main drag & people throng to get a taste. Very Dog-Friendly, WG has something for nearly everyone. Come Visit!

Lots of friendly, small, locally-owned shops and restaurants. Not really upscale but really nice. Prices are not upscale either (a good thing) but they aren't bargain-basement either. It's not a tourist area but really geared to the local neighborhood so the prices are very fair. Several very good restaurants with moderate pricing too. La Villa Deli is a must-do for... More

The Table offers a more upscale menu with some unique dishes that are quite well prepared. Service is very attentive and it can get very busy during peak hours.

About 5 blocks of funky small boutique shops and diverse and ethnically diverse restaurants. A great place to people watch. The area attracts all ages. My husband and I ate lunch outside at Bill's Cafe which has a personality of its own. The food was delicious.

Willow Glen is a mellow downtown for the area. It hosts a couple of restaurants and a few coffee shops. If you are looking for a quiet place to wander, then drop on by. If you want more action, try downtown Campbell.

Good dining options - check out The Table for craft cocktails - but all shops/restaurants close early so not a good spot for a late evening out.
