Overview
More
Avaya Stadium, home to Major League Soccer’s San Jose Earthquakes, is an 18,000-seat soccer-specific stadium located on Coleman Ave. adjacent to the San Jose International Airport. The European-inspired building is the first cloud-enabled venue in MLS and is among the most technologically advanced stadiums in the world. The stadium features a canopy roof and the steepest-raked seating in MLS to provide the best possible fan experience. Additionally, the north end zone houses the largest outdoor bar in North America, a two-acre fan zone and a double-sided video scoreboard. The suites and club seats are located at field level, giving fans a premium experience unlike any other in professional sports. The stadium has hosted numerous non-Major League Soccer events since its inaugural season in 2015, including the International Champions Cup, which featured Manchester United and Club America, a pair of United States Women’s National Team friendlies, the 2016 Major League Soccer All-Star Game against Arsenal FC, and a U.S. Men’s National Team World Cup qualifier.

I visited Avaya Stadium on May 19,2018 to see the San Jose Earthquakes vs. DC United. This was only the second Quakes game I have been to. Unfortunately, the Quakes didn’t win. But that is ok. I would still continuously recommend going to Quakes games....More

The stadium is an intimate venue to watch profession soccer. We were there on a misty evening but we were protected from the sprinkles by a cover. The cover is a very nice feature of the stadium as it covers probably 70% of the seats.

We went there to see the Opener with the Quakes playing Minnesota United. The opening fireworks were rinky-dink and smoky. They should skip them or do a better job. Men's bathrooms were packed and the line was too long. Either enlarge the bathrooms or give...More

The stadium is immediately adjacent to the San Jose airport complex so it can get noisy as planes come and go. Stadium parking was convenient and cost $15. Seats had backs, and the restrooms were in good condition. Nice venue for a rugby tournament.

The Quakes are the best bargain in the Bay Area to go watch professional sports. Avaya is a terrific venue - a modern, well constructed stadium with comfortable seating, unobstructed viewing and basically not a bad seat in the house. The stadium has a "end...More

Went to see Earthquakes play the Crew. Although the quality of play on the pitch was dreadful this night, the actual facility is beautiful to view a soccer match. Perfect sized facility that holds the crowd noise very well. Refreshment prices expensive but not like...More
