This is a huge farmers market with great atmosphere. There are also music performers and bands. This market gets very crowded with Cal Poly students. The actual produce is high quality from local farmers. Lots of dinner vendors so make a night of it. Great entertainment for low cost. Recommended.

First thing parking..use one of the well signed parking structures. First hour free. This is predominantly a farmers market and foodie venue. The street food is fantastic and reasonable. We had a wonderful pulled pork sandwich with great coleslaw on top. Lots of fresh produce, and baked goods with some of the most reasonable prices I have seen at a... More

Produce and food selection were quite good and what I would expect. Disappointed to see single-use plastic bags are still being used. Forward thinking markets have banned these already. Acceptance of EBT and WIC was not well promoted leading me to think access to fresh produce for all was not a priority. No indication whether or not this is a... More

My husband and I went with some friends who are locals here. The food was amazing. I found that there were lots of options to choose from for fresh fruit and vegetables, street food, local clothing companies and other local businesses. There was entertainment to watch and plenty of vendors that were worth taking a peek at. Very impressed with... More

I will plan future trips to include a Thursday evening stop at the Farmers Market! Parking was easy in the parking structure by Barnes & Noble (& only $1 for ~2 hours). The ribs were amazing at the booth just *past* the long line at the south end of the street at the Old San Luis Restaurant. The music was... More

SLO's DT Farmer's Market offers a variety of local flavors. Depending on the night, you will often have live music and occasional dance performances. It's a great place to pick up fresh produce, eat dinner, listen to local artists and hang out with friends.

I visited the SLO farmers market with some friends, and I found it to be like just about every other farmers market I've been to across the country. Lots of food from local restaurants, lots of fresh produce, and a few booths of various wares. No dogs allowed. I was impressed by the size of this market, but by and... More

There were so many good food options here and lots of entertainment. There was a guy dressed as a bug...or something that looked like a bug..and he was playing music. He was very entertaining. Also had 2 or 3 other bands as well up and down the road. Lots of different food, drink and dessert options. We had a great... More

Great place to hang out on Thursday evening, lots of people hanging out, lots of great food choices. Usually a couple of performers/bands playing music on street corners to add to the great vibe. Parking can be difficult as it can be very busy, suggest you leave the car at home and use public transit if possible.
