I went with family to the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleased to find three floors of various interactive displays tailored for smaller children that are not only fun but teach reading, scientific principals, and motor skills. I believe this museum is sponsored by in part by Cal Poly the local major university.... More

Our young daughters have been here a few times and have a ball of every time we are here. There are 3 floors of various activities for the kids. The 2nd and 3rd floors cater to the younger kids under the age of 6 and that is where we spend most of our time. The 2nd floor has a pendulum... More

This is the place for kids of all ages to explore things and play with new items and make up adventures. My grandkids (6 and 7) loved the morning and did several cool things that they had never done before. Parents and grandparents can expand the little ones minds as they present new ideas and concepts. Well worth a few... More

Great way to spend a morning in San Luis Obispo if you have young ones in tow. Something for all ages as well as activities geared towards a wide variety of interests. Whether you have budding paleontologist or a young Picaso, anyone with curiosity and imagination should enjoy spending time here.

This place is always fun! It is a great place for kids to explore, pretend, and create. They can cook in the play kitchen, drive the fire engine, paint, play doctor, dig dinosaur bones, or star in their own play on the stage. With 3 stories to check out it is hours of fun. Adults should keep in mind that... More

We took our 3 year old grandson to the museum and he loved it from the moment he stepped inside. There are so many interesting things to look at and do. Our grandson is a very busy, active person and there were plenty of activities to keep him occupied. He served ice cream cones to us in the soda shop,... More

We have taken our grandkids here numerous times and they love it. Each time, they find something different to discover. Robot lab, sand art, gears, play store.

Doesn't look very big from the outside but the museum is 3 floors with exhibits packed wall to wall. It was excellent for my 4 year old, and there were kids younger and older than him there as well. The third floor is only for kiddos 4 and under. We were there at least an hour and there are also... More

We have taken our Grandchildren here many times for several years. They have so enjoyed it, as we have enjoyed taking them to this very interactive museum for all ages where using your imagination is the name of the game. There are three stories of fun as well as activities outside. Check their webisite to see what classes are being... More
