We particularly liked the Chinese garden. Go on a cloudy day so it will not be too hot. The desert plant were also very spectacular Marty

Another fantastic museum campus for visiting. You can spend the better part of the day here browsing the gardens, art, and library. The Desert Garden is world-famous, in and of itself. The Australian garden is not worth the hike to the bottom of the hill....More

Food is not allowed on the grounds, but when you first come in there is a small kiosk where you can buy some things (I saw some people walking around with ice cream and coffee). There are some tables there where you can eat.
