Wow! I never know this treasure existed before last week. I was heading for Poplar Creek Golf Course but took a wrong turn, as I was unfamiliar with the area. I found myself on a road that followed the San Francisco South Bay curving around this beautiful part of San Mateo. It turned out to be Coyote Point Drive and... More

We love coming for walks at Coyote Point. It is often rather breezy but the view of the bay is beautiful and it is so relaxing to see all the people walking their dogs and flying kites. It's awesome to see the birds in their natural habitats and see the sailboats on the bay. The kids love to stop by... More

There is also a beach where people swim, but mostly wind surf. It's fun to watch. Has a little boardwalk with ice cream carts. Lovely picnic areas in the woodsy area. Lots of locals and a chance to see the diversity of San Mateo County's climate and people.

Lots of animals are there that can't live in the wild anymore because of the injuries. Most animals there included a bird sanctuary which had golden eagles, barn owls and there were also ducks and turtles swimming in the water. There's were also bird eggs waiting to hatch. Great educational experience for both kids and adults.

This knights' castle playground is amazing, especially if your kids like knights/castles/etc. The site is beautiful and it's fun to watch the airplanes. It does cost $6.25 to get into the park, which seems a bit steep. Also, I observed two different parents act very aggressively toward other parents about minor kids' issues (pushing, etc.). I have never seen parents... More

Very nice to go for a stroll, long or short and suitable for all ages. Being a senior, I can take my time to stroll while my younger family members can jog or run and no hurry to compete with them. Fun for all ages !!!

This is a very nice park by the bay. It has several picnic areas with nice restrooms, a large marina and a nature museum. There is also a vista point at the top of the hill which allows people to watch passenger planes landing at the San Francisco (SFO) International Airport.

Have been going here for 20 years to walk the dogs, especially nice for sunrise and watching the planes land at SFO, they are pretty quiet when landing they seem to be in Glide mode..... a great little municipal golf course and good lunch at the club house!! There is a gun range nearby and you can even adopt a... More

Nice walk to go on with a group big path. You get to walk along the bay and just take in the scenery. Those who have kids it's even better because it has a big fun playground

I am working in the San Mateo area this week and waited for a non-rainy, hopefully sunny day, to visit this park. Sunshine finally arrived yesterday! I parked above the marina and walked the trails and then walked down to the marina. There is a paved walkway on rocks that goes out into the harbor. Such lovely views south of... More
