The architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright reveals that he was far beyond his time in his life.Everywhere throughout the buildings and landscape is a thoughtful and useful curve or line. The library open to the public is the most comfortable space with history displayed on the walls.Well worth the time to walk around to simply enjoy the views.

Docent tours of this Frank Lloyd Wright designed building take place every Wednesday morning at 10.30. It costs $10 and reservations are not required. Our guide Joel was very well informed and the tour was fascinating, it included the chamber and the library. Highly recommended.

I have been in Architecture for 30 years. Frank Lloyd Wrights was a master. Even if you don't take the official tour, which I would recommend. The art of his building is fascinating. The details that are continually carried through to the smallest details in the bathrooms are amazing. The use of circles and the visual play on them is... More

The Civic Center itself is well worth a short visit, especially if one is a fan of Frank Loyd Wright - a building unusual in its day and still quite out of the ordinary today. The Sunday Farmers market is one of the best and the lawns and large ponds with both sun and shade are perfect for a picnic,... More

It comprises a number of buildings, size to suit the event. Plenty of parking. Nice location adjacent to the lagoon, and close to hotels.

Comfortable seating and good sight lines. Wish they had more shows. I think they need a new booking agency.

The Marin Center broke ground on 1960 after Wright had died. but it carries his style everywhere. It is an old building and it looks it, but it is beautiful inside and out. I had to go to traffic court there and had a great time admiring all the details that are still preserved. Great building, a must see for... More

There were no lines to wade through at Will Call. The Box Office staff were kind and courteous. The lines to the Bar were about 5 deep, so not too bad. The ushers pointed us to our row and told us about how far in our seats were. We were in row 18, a short distance from the center seat... More

Interesting architecture, a lake to walk around, and a library dome. Very enjoyable, especially for a government building.
