The weather was great on a busy Sunday. Parking was full and required patience, but well worth the wait. We walked north along the beach and eventually left the crowds behind. This is a beautiful beach. I would love to return on a weekday, and...More

Parking lot always busy but I walk to this beach along the shoreline from other beaches. Just watch the tide. Dog area at this beach.

For decades now, this beach has been a walkers/ explores beach. It requires knowing the tide charts before walking out long distances and not being able to get back. There is a restaurant on the beach for breakfast and lunch. Parking can be an issue.

When we visit Santa Barbara, we try to walk this beach most days. Lots of cute dogs and nice dog owners, plus a great breakfast place add to the great views on this beach.

If you like dogs, this is your beach. If you like quiet beaches without the risk of stepping in doo or being affronted by an assortment of other people's dogs... Arroyo Burro is not your beach. Good owners follow the leash rules, but it seems...More

Lovely coastline and beach, but was surprised to find that dogs are allowed everywhere on this beach, off leash in some areas.

Nothing like having a day at the beach off leash!! Two VERY tired critters tonight! A narrow beach with no way for the pups to escape! The sun bathers on the off leash side are very forgiving of overly happy pups giving sand kisses! Just...More
