My husband and I went to the Wharf for a snack and to watch the sunset. Cheap (or free!) parking, beautiful views, and cute shops. A must see if in Santa Barbara.

As many have said this is a nice pier to walk out onto and take a stroll to be near the sea. There are a few shops and eateries but it's not overly commercialized and not overly crowded, just the appropriate amount and size. It is as others have said surprising they allow people to drive out for a charge...we... More

There's a few shops on the wharf and a half dozen or so restaurants. It's definitely a major attraction in the area and while it's different there wasn't much to it. I definitely recommend venturing on the wharf to experience it and dine but once is enough.

Walked the wharf three different times. Saw seals, dolphins, lots of birds. Lots of action and things to see! Had our grandkids with us ages 1 and 3. They had a great time!

We stay nearby on our trips thru Santa Barbara and always stroll along the wharf after the trip in from Palm Springs. I like the working wharf much better. We stroll over there for dinner at Brophy Brothers and enjoy watching the boats come in and seeing the sea urchins unloaded.

It was under construction all around. The shops were super tacky souvenir type places. Nothing boutique or special or artesian. Waking out there was cool. The pier itself is neat. View was so so....there was a bunch of mess washed up on the beach & all the construction tape. I'm glad I walked out there but it wasn't super special... More

Amazing views of the surrounding and the ocean. It is a pier in the harbour in Santa Barbara. It has Santa Barbara's history and character. If you are lucky you can see dolphins or whales at the end of the pier. There are shops, restaurants and for the fishing lovers.

No trip to Santa Barbara is not complete without a walk on Stearns Wharf. You have to pay to take a car on the wharf, but it is an easy walk to the end. Great views of the ocean and Channel Islands. Fun Atmosphere - lots of activity. Shops, museum and restaurants. So glad we took a walk to the... More
