Great restaurants, beautiful pier to walk out on and enjoy the views. Historic and educational value for the area. Souvenir shops are readily available.

We went there in a cold day so we didn't enjoy the beach much. There are several restaurants and it's just like any other piers. If it was a sunny day or in summer I would think it would be more fun and more activities. It was nice to stroll along the beach near this place. We found a free... More

There seems to be a photogenic Pelican who hangs out at the end of the Wharf. (Although I think the main motivation is waiting for someone fishing to do a catch and release with hopes of intercepting the throw). Lots of freindly folks to have a chat with. There are of course a few nice shops and restaurants there as... More

Visited on a mild Tuesday in December and we were rewarded by light traffic and few other visitors. There were even parking spots available on the pier itself! All along the wharf, and especially at the end of it, the entire Santa Barbara coastline was on full display from Shoreline park to beyond the Biltmore hotel in Montecito. Calm seas,... More

Delightful place. From wharf you will see the wide endless beaches of the area. Restaurants and shops are plenty on the wharf and you drive with your vehicle to the end of the wharf, although I recommend walking to enjoy the sights. You may encounter homeless folks in this area which is not uncommon in warm, touristy areas, they were... More

Nothing particularly special in terms of attractions but a very pretty walk. Can be a bit windy so be prepared.

If you're in Santa Barbara take the time to stroll out on the wharf. Beautiful views and photo ops, great place to watch the sunset. Stop in the Conway Family Deep Sea tasting room for a cozy break and a flight of wine. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Cars are allowed free for 90 minutes with a small fee for longer... More

We walked from our hotel to the pier. Cars can park there for a limited timeframe. We were able to look out to the islands and there are tours that can be taken. We did not have time to do that. Should walk this if you have the time.

The wharf has beautiful photo opportunities with the ocean and mountain backdrop. There are places to grab lunch or a quick snack, although we didn't eat on the wharf. There is parking on the wharf itself (not sure of cost), but we rode the hotel bikes to the very end. A word to parents of toddlers/young children: There is no... More

It nice to walk around and check the view and the little shops. I also enjoy next by the park there were some local artist selling pictures, earrings etc.
