The wharf is a great location for a family picnic, fresh shrimp, fishing, watching the pelicans, shopping and great restaurants. Parking is reasonable and usually available. The view of the coastline is exquisite and the Sea Center is great for children.
It was interesting that you are able to actually park on this Pier, we parked wandered around the shops and took in some beautiful views. Watched the ocean for some calm and serenity.
