Great family trail

Jesusita is a great place for a family walk, couples or just to clear your head. Very accessible and easy walk.

My hiking partner and I hiked the Jesusita Trail to Inspiration Point. It was a Friday about 11:00 a.m. Finding the trail head was fairly easy, following the trail was fairly easy once you got into it, but we did get off the path a few times and had to ask some other hikers. Even though the trail to inspiration... More

Some favorite avocado orchards here. Beautiful greenery making its way back across the canyon. Excellent VRBO available in area also!

not only a wonderful place to hick, the sightseeing is amazing, from uphill a view from the ocean and also the beautiful mountains, you can go on single tracks and also go safer on wide trails, a bit tricky to find where to park your car, but wonderful anyway,

Trail is well maintained with varied vistas. Lots of off leash dogs on the day of our hike, which is great if you like them and not if you prefer to be left alone. Take some water along and enjoy the various plant species.

nice hike in that you can make it shorter or longer. Great views over Santa Barbara and the Pacific. Only problem is that you have to park on the road a good ways down on busy days, so plan on that as part of your hike!

This trail is really a main thoroughfare to a dozen routes that can lead you out around the mountain range. It's so gentle, early on, and has some picnic benches, that even if some of your group members don't want to proceed up the more strenuous sections of the trail, they can relax in comfort. Get your shoes on and... More

A great morning hike to Inspiration Point for beautiful view of the Channel Islands. We had some difficulty finding the trail head using internet directions, but once on the trail it was an easy 2 mile climb to the top.

Just hiked this trail to Inspiration Point for the second time. It is the perfect combination of elevation and distance. People were actually running, (they were young, very young!) and one gentleman was packing a bicycle up, to ride down the north side. Most people like us were huffing and puffing in simple tennis shoes. Hiking boots, or appropriate sneakers... More

Just 2 easy miles from 101 Jesusita Trail is the best run/hike/walk in Santa Barbara for visitors. The trail, to Inspiration Point is about 4 miles and one can continue indefinably as it's the west end of the Front Face trails. Jesusita is about half shaded making it our best hot weather trail. There is a picnic table about 1/4... More
